NOC report that we've switched back to SEACOM and everything should be back to normal. Hopefully, everyone's Saturday is back on track.

Anyone who is not loving Star Trek Picard will be subject to my woeful disdain.

Hi Afriman,

I am hoping you can help - I placed an order on Friday for Pure Fiber in lieu of my current DSL package. I subsequently changed my mind to join Afrihost with fiber and submitted a ticket (ref QXG-682-63920) to cancel my order scheduled for 01 March 2020. Via the response I am getting from Support, it appears that there is great confusion - all I need is confirmation from Afrihost that my application for fiber has been cancelled (Order # AHE008C2B3E495).

Sorry to hear that you've decided not to go with us. I've asked our team to cancel everything. Means you will need to apply from scratch with your new ISP, since we should cancel before the order is placed with the fibre provider.

Let me know if you change your mind. Our latency is a challenge with WACS and SAT3 down, but I believe we should be seeing great performance again once they're fixed (around 8 Feb).

Happy to chat about any concerns you have that might be influencing your decision.

Dig the 100 also - Octavia is life!

Waiting for Hunters on Amazon Prime - looks amazing. Also enjoyed The Widow, The Man in High Castle, Goliath, The Boys. Some gems there.

Movie selection also starting to get much better. They have Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Probably my favourite movie of the 90's.

Do Afrihost provide any support on a Sunday morning or are they all in church?

We definitely have people working on Sunday. You should be able to send an email and get a response 24//7. You can also request a call back in ClientZone.

Anything I can help with?

So you guys @AfriMan charge me for a 200Mbps line for this month because you said I downgraded too late and it will only be effective end of Feb but my line has been downgraded? Clientzone is bugged....

Wow 8Mbps is slow feels like my internet is broken. No offence to the guys on 8 or 10Mbps but wow how do you guys manage.
