Hey @AfriPeeps

A bit confused. I'm a potential new (well, oldish new) customer and hoping to sign up for Vuma fibre.

I had a look this morning, and saw this new (50Down 20Up) package option:

Which I was super stoked about! I did double check that it was valid with a call centre agent:

However when I checked back a few minutes ago, the option has gone. Any idea whether this is a mistake, or whether this package option was never an option :)

Thanks!
I also saw it earlier today, It would be awesome if they can keep it, because I saw a 200/100 option for R1197.00 p/m which would be ideal. There was also a 200/10 for R1097.00 p/m. But to be honest with you, I think it was a mistake on their side.

Maybe this is going to happen soon and someone updated the website too early by mistake ?
It is about time better deals came up

I have a feeling they will surprise us (I hope so) and say, your packages will be left unchanged after the "Free Upgrade" period.

I recognise that things must be really crazy at this time for you and for everyone in the country, but please if you get a moment, could you look into this for me?

This is from George in the Western Cape on Openserve, but friends I know who are on other networks are experiencing similar.

This seems unrelated to the WACS/undersea cable break, as these test's were all done to local servers, but this does obviously make it a little difficult to get any work done.

Thanks in advance & I hope everyone at Afrihost & clients are keeping well during this difficult time.

In George with CISP on Openserve/Telkom fibre connection. Also lucky if I get anything close to 1Mbps.

CISP has reported it to Openserve/Telkom

I also opened up a thread for the area > https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads/openserve-telkom-fibre-adsl-issue.1077321/

Could you guys perhaps post tracert/traceroute to 1.1.1.1 or any other server?

Sorry about the delayed response from our support channels of late! We are dealing with a significant amount of traffic due to the free upgrades and the Seacom Break. Is there anything you'd like me to help with?
