Do you have a trace route? Loss on a single hop does not mean a loss the whole route though. ICMP filtering or delays as the router gets busier could show up as a loss in a MTR.

Loss carries all the way down the route from that hop. Been killing my gaming sessions all day.

If there is clearly a wider connectivity issue affecting a bunch of ISPs, it's probably best to play single player games rather than persistently suffer through multiplayer problems.

Unsure where you're getting a wider connectivity issue from? I'm reporting loss on a hop that is very clearly on AH's network.

Afrihost isn't the only ISP with an issue, and the point stands regardless of where the issue is.

I'm afraid you're confusing a point with an opinion. Regardless, I'm not here for your view on what I should be doing with my time, but rather to get some attention on the problem from AH.

Another user (FF in PE through AH) posted these traceroutes and also has packet loss starting from 169.1.21.1

That was still minor, after talking to afrihost that called me on saterday on a CALL ME BACK ticket I submitted close to 2 months ago. I complained and my connection got a lot worse.. This below picture was from Saterday the 17/05/2020 between 16:08 till 21:08.. And it only got better around 3am... Was playing the Matrix so to speak outrunning my only shotgun shells on COD.1.1.1.1.png

Some sort of transmission failure. No official notice yet. Openserve fibre, adsl and Telkom Mobile are affected in that region.
