So if two ISPs are giving you subpar results on the same FNO, then common sense would say it has to be investigated by the FNO. Perhaps Packet loss or congestion on the last mile. Which FNO are you with?

Afritoast was below subpar... With Cool ideas 100mbps I'm getting almost 7x the speed that I had with the 100mbps Afritoast line.

FNO? Meaning where is the line rental? Openserve.

That is still a crap result for 100mb, you have a last mile issue with your line.
My 100mb vuma trenched result with 2 tv's streaming dstvnow:

The results with cool ideas is almost x7 better than what I had with afritoast 100mbps that gave me below 10mbps

Probably a coincidence.
Don't think so,

Did nothing to the router setup (exact same hardware, exact same setup) except changing out the ISP details. before I swapped out the line was trash after swapping out it I got amazing results.

Well with the results that you have it's quite good. You are one of the lucky ones. enjoy your amazing speeds man :D
Very weird, maybe a misconfigured VLAN or something on afrihosts side. My speeds have been nothing but amazing with them

So this doesnt means that I get another 3 months on OpenServe?

Unfortunately no. This promo is only extended for Vumatel. You would need to submit the downgrade on Openserve if you do not want to pay the extra monthly fee from 1st of Feb.

Uhm no don't do that.

I had a 50 Mbps line with them and 90% of the time the line speed was under 10 Mbps. Decided to opt-in for the double-up promo and thought if I get 10 Mbps on a 50mbps line then Ill probably get above 10mbps on a 100mbps line and it wasn't the case. on the 100 Mbps line had speeds below 8mbps but sometimes when I restart the router it will jump up to 40mbps and slowly but surely make its way back to 8 Mbps.

Decided to move away from Afrihost to Coolideas.

I have a 100 Mbps line with them and I get the following results

During night time, I get more than 90 Mbps download and 70mbps upload

Asked Afritoast support to help, they said that it the router, and If they send out someone it's going to cost R 1000 if there isn't anything wrong with the line, with my luck everything will look super on the day the techie comes out and then I have to cough up 1k.

The funny thing is I am using the exact same hardware that Afrihost gave me, just with CoolIdeas details

So happy I don't have to deal with afritoast anymore

I'm sorry we dropped the ball here that ultimately was the reason you cancelled. :(

So because I thought the upgrade was over I changed my packages. Any chance I can downgrade and still get the upgrade offer?

Yes. There is a Dev issue currently where clients aren't able to remove the pending downgrade. Once the fix has been implemented I will let everyone know and everyone would be able to remove the pending downgrade. :)
