Thought so... that was my advice to them as well... contact the ISP and log a fault
Just some feedback.... Was contacted by Openserve via Messenger this morning, requesting contact info and adress of the damaged pole, so that they can escalate it

I see the Dlink DIR825G1 got has a new firmware 5.0.1, any feedback?

You can send a mail to support@za.dlink.com for a details list of changes. One of the changes is the addition of TR-069 for us to auto configure the router for a fibre line so you don't have to. There is some minor bug fixes and changes.

Meh, i dont think a FW update is going to solve me issue.

The damn thing keeps locking up and by that when i try ping something on the network from a device thats connected to it I get horrible latency.

Its in AP/Extender mode, and i need to reboot it to get it working. Its like there is a cache on there that isnt flushing.

Still on FW 3.0.4

It's annoying that you have to turn it off and on again every now and then. Also have it as the wifi AP, with ER-X as the router. When wifi stops responding I know what to do.

If it's still under warranty we can exchange the faulty unit for a Huawei WS5200

Happening again, second night in a row. I had a better experience on Rain and that's saying alot.

Hi,

Do you have a MTR for me? Maybe a ping plotter result to 1.1.1.1 to show the latency?

Also can you send me your clientzone email address for me to have a look at the line?
