@AfriNatic Do you see any outages for Frogfoot Villieria Pretoria at the moment?

Been down since 12 this afternoon.

Hi,

I don't see any outages. Must be a line issue. Just drop me your clientzone email again I know you have in the past but I get so many messages every day. :)

Good day @AfriNatic hope you are well. I was wondering if you could be of some assistance. Long story short, I have fibre with WebAfica/Openserve, not happy with service. Wanna change over to Afrihost / Frog Foot. I have been in communication with the Afrihost whatsapp service. I just need clarity on certain things, as i wanna make the switch, but dont want to have any down time during the migration or new installation process. What will be the best way forward pls?

Don't do it, stay Openserve and just change ISP to Afrihost.

That bad hey? Openserve tech has been here 3 times, and they close it as resolved same day even if its not. I asked WA for refund and they say they cant as the case has ot been opened for 3 consecutive day in a row, everytime I have to go through this process, its been like this since begining Feb.... Im frustrated.... Also, Openserve only offers a max speed of 200mb, nothing faster, not that I would need it, but for the same price as openserve, I can get 3 times the speed with Frogfoot. I do appreciate the early warning though!

Depends on area and the contractor that is available to do the installation. I had a client installed and activated in 2 days after the order was placed and then we have clients waiting 2 weeks or so maybe more depending on installation schedules.

Since you already have Openserve installed why not give that a go?

What issues are you having with the line and what area are you in? There is only a few areas on Openserve that seems to be problematic when it comes to uptime.

At least when your line is fixed on openserve then it just works. Frogfoot is like a luckypacket. And openserve have doubled their speeds but price stays the same from 1 march on afrihost, so you'll get 200mb for the price of 100mb. Entry level openserve is 25mb @ R597 on afrihost.
