@AfriNatic Do you know if Vumatel is ever going to allow 1000/1000mbps lines?

What do you mean it is promotional?Hi,
I don't have any info from Vuma on this but unlikely. The Active Ethernet network can certainly handle it but on Gpon and Villages it might be an issue.
Remember that the 1000/100 is also a promotional service that is getting extended all the time it's not a permanent offering.

So the 1000/100 for R1497.00 is promotional? What is the base offer then? The 1000/100 from Vumatel is a promotion from Vumatel that has been extended since it was launched. It's a promotion from Vumatel which they can cancel at anytime. The 1000/100 base offer from Vumatel is a permanent offer but it's significantly more expensive.
6k I think. So the 1000/100 for R1497.00 is promotional? What is the base offer then?
Fingers crossed that if the "promotion" ever ends, we are given fair warning hehe. Would hate an invoice in that amount in my inbox...6k I think.

@AfriNatic is this unique to Vumatel only? Or is the Gigabit package from Frogfoot at R1867 also promotional?

Did your developers deploy the pricing changes a touch too quickly.
100mbps and 200mbps are the same. lol
Vumatel started install cables the beginning of the month in my area. Checking on the Vumatel website now it shows Vuma Reach is available at my address but your website and other ISP websites show no fibre available when I enter my address. When will I be able to order fibre.
Not that you'll get the full 1000/1000 , but 800+ down at 500 price is a decent resultThis is just for Vumatel 1Gbps.
Frogfoot pricing is the standard pricing. If you are in an area covered by the double speed promo on Frogfoot signing up for a 500/500 Frogfoot line with Afrihost will give you the 1000/1000 line and that will be priced at R1567 per month.![]()
Still stuck at 200Mbps and still not better value than FF at the high end . Same price for 200/100 as FF's 200/200. Only thing in their favour is stability
When does this go live for current clients on 100/50?
