It sounds like that sometimes :D
Mine is back now.

Just off topic about Teams. Since WFH last year we have been using Skype for business and was good.
Teams on the other hand not so. Now our company is switching over to Teams, guess we need to learn
some alien language when our internet goes slow.

We switched in April last year (from SfB) . didn't like in the beginning, but it sorts of grow on you :) ******* powerful when it comes to meetings... handling of breakout rooms for separate discussions, etc, etc . Sharing of content within the team, etc. Will struggle going back to SfB now

Hi All

Is anybody else experiencing random speed drops today? Download speeds seem to drop every few minutes for 30s or so. May just be a dying router if it's just me...

No general issues I'm aware of except the ones listed on the status page.

To rule out the router you can connect to the ONT directly.

Connection dead. Openserve, Klipkop
All normal lights on with ONT (power, PON, Auth, Lan 1)
Tried restarting router several times. Red light on router
@AfriNatic

Edit: down for 30min. Up and running again. Reset the password via Afrihost app. Not sure what the problem was

I guess it is an outage in the whole area. My connection is also down.
I hope they do not take as long to fix this like they did with the installations.

Mine is up again bro. I reset my Openserve login password with the Afrihost app. Try the Clientzone if you dont have the app. took then about 10 minutes to run through the system before 'green light' on router

It's also back up and running on my end. I did not have to reset my credential, it was just back on when I checked it after reading your msg

I went through all that trouble for nothing,
I feel you bro and their ont does not help the situation at all.
The rest of the lights were on, except the internet light which seems to be always off on the ont.
I would have hoped that when the fibre line is active, the internet light be on or at least be flickering.

I also went through my share of troubles turning the router and ont on and off, as well as swapping ethernet cables and testing with a direct connection to the ont.
