Anyone else having issues with Netflix? It’s taking a long time to load on Afrihost

Mine started with buffering just after 16:00, but I then went for a run. Haven't tried, expecting disappointment though. Netflix then, or building electronics?

DStv Now is just buffering
Gaming is a no go due to packet loss and ping fluctuation

Is Afrihost shaping traffic or something?

Edit: MFN 300/300

We've not experienced any Network Saturation at this point. I'll confirm with our NOC team as well.

@AfriGuy

I've been experiencing severe packet loss since the 5th of January. The line is with Vumatel, and I was originally with Webafrica. Switched over to Afrihost at the end of February and the problem has persisted. Is there any way that a technician or someone could be dispatched? Every time a support ticket is opened with Vumatel, they test the line and say things are fine, and then close the ticket. I've done pretty much every test I possible can at this point, though. :(

I've tested three different routers, different ethernet cables, wireless, wired, etc. I've even plugged into the ONT directly. Issue persists.

I really, really miss jamming stuff online with friends - and it's pretty much impossible to play most things with the connection like this.

Vumatel in East London is not producing acceptable throughput again, so now I have to waste time jumping through hoops to prove that it's not a problem on my end? :mad:

Anybody know an ISP that doesn't need constant cold-starts of the ONT and router to maintain throughput?
