Thanks for the feedback. Can you confirm if the issue persists when you are downloading from a different server?
it's not the server seeing I'm coming from 50, 100, 200 and 1000 speed lines from previous ISP's, never had speed issue.

more consistent speed now, but still a lot of red lines:

then as i'm typing this, it does this:

I understand you, but the fact that you now have a 20mbps line from 50mbps, 100mbps, 200mbps and 1000mbps could be a part of the problem. A download rate of 1.8MB/s is equivalent to 14.4mbps which is not the best but not bad at all.

No idea I don't use the service. I can test tonight if you want when I get home.
That would be great. But you will need a premium account to test the service which is like 3EUR for 15 days.

Seeyou, I will do my best to have it resolved in 48hrs for you. But due to the long weekend, I may only give you feedback on Monday.

Not that I expected you to get this resolved in 48 hours, but any feedback on this issue?

it's 900kB/s-1.8MB/s yoyo, not constant 1.8MB/s like it should be.

it's a bit slower because i've set qos to 19mb to control the latency, otherwise it's not stable.

Ok perfect. You can also drop me a PM if you need help. :)

Ok so I set it up from scratch again and followed the required steps, including enabling ‘Dynamic IPv4’ as the WAN connection type. No dice, I'm afraid.
"Failed to obtain an IP address from the DHCP server".

So I connected back up my old ASUS router with the old PPPoE details as supplied by CISP from back when I signed up with them. I can still connect to their network, no problem.

I feel as though I'm going around in circles here, but are you sure this isn't still a VUMA fault that has yet to be resolved?

I've mentioned this before but I think it bears repeating again. According to VUMA, currently "There is no active service on this line".

And, I'm going to quote what I was told by the CISP rep a few weeks ago:

It's cancelled on our side so there is no manual cancellation, so it would be up to the new ISP to ask Vumatel to get it into the correct state to accept it.

yeah, you should see afrihost account in shop.vuma, not no service, then you have to go to login.afrihost and enter cell no to activate, well that's what i had to do.
