Only worry if you have loss on the last hop.
aah! so packets that get lost in the middle of the journey has no outcome on the actual journey?

There is something amiss as general browsing feel somewhat 'laggy'. As if on LTE. Used Google as a proxy, as I cannot pinpoint a specific site.

Youtube buffered quite a bit as well

They’re not lost, it’s just those routers dropping your test packets. I use 9.9.9.9 and 1.1.1.2 as my DNS, I don’t like 8.8.8.8.

Morning,

Sorry for the late reply.

Those are fine as long as it doesn't show the loss to the destination. Packets have to travel through those hops to reach the destination so if one of them was dropping packets it will show up as loss to the destination.

It's likely just the switch dropping continuous icmp which is pretty normal.

Morning,

Sorry for the late reply. I had a look at the graphs now and I don't see anything odd with traffic yesterday. Is the issue still happening?

Internet over Vuma poked again, so now we start with router and ONT power cycles etc.
Good thing I didn't have any plans for tonight
