Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread

Can anyone help me with the diagnosis of these lights on my raycore fibre

Fibre down for anyone else in Cape Town? Trace route to 8.8.8.8 runs through a few hops and then 100% packet loss after 100.127.2.182.

Same result for 1.1.1.1, 100% packet loss after 169.1.21.86.

Yes, Internet dead here too. ONT lights are fine, and my neighbour on another isp has Internet, so it's not Frogfoot this time.

ah so its not just me.. cpt openserve.
pppoe authenticates just fine but RX sits on 0.00

running on my cybersmart pppoe at the moment.

strangely enough my parents on Afrihost FF in deep-south CPT are running just fine.

It seems to be the case that I am now getting a carrier grade NAT IP address on my router, and not a routable public IP address like before. When did Afrihost start doing this? This means I can't connect in to my home server anymore.

IPv6 still doesn't work, I don't have a routable public IPv4. Really disappointing.

Hi,

You can send me a pm so I can allocate a public IP for you.
 
Any one else having problems with Openserve in Centurion, only getting about 6Mbps of our 25Mbps line.
Reset router and ONT - still happening.
