RSAWEB - what's their migration reputation like? :)

I'll check in again at the end of Feb.

We're now on the 2nd of March and I'm still on RSAWEB.

They say it's Octotel that needs to make the change, and Afrihost apparently can't transfer the line to themselves until Octotel releases it.

So, the bottleneck here is Octotel :( This is the result of this 'full calendar month' notice nonsense: all changes are compressed into the end/start of the month.

At least my fibre still works!

My 100mbps connection has the same issue. Upload speed is what it should be, but download is screwed, especially international. Been like that since this afternoon. Problem, because working at home.

Yeah just noticed same.. Looks like I'm on a 50/50 ish line now instead of 100/50mbps.

No biggie, at least the line is not dead.

Hit 100mbit for about 2 seconds then dropped down to 49/46 on my Openserve account.

Yeah, mine does the same. It hits the speed it is meant to be upgraded to and then in 2-3 seconds it gets pulled down to the "old" speed.

Same... According to the Openserve app, I'm on the 100mbps plan, but I think Afrihost needs to configure stuff their side. lol

Huawei LTE routers are supposed to be mesh-able.

I’m using a B525 as part of a Hilink+ mesh network.
It does seem to have had a firmware (updated web ui changed) after I plugged it into the network (WAN port connected to home network) with the WS5200 as main router.

The whole Link+ thing works smoothly (just plugged a second WS5200 into the network, straight from the Takealot box, without any configuration) but it seems to be poorly documented

They mesh wirelessly too. I just put my second router next to the B818 and pushed the H button. Couple of seconds later and it was all good to go.

looks like something went wrong on OS/AH.. I'm on 10/10 now instead of 25/25 :\
[edit] looks like AH, I see before they acknowledged my downgrade processed I was at 25/25

Anyone else still waiting for the upgrade? I am still on 100mbps.

Yip still waiting to be upgraded. Currently on 20

As a workaround now you can go to clientzone regrade to the correct speed at the same price and send me the clientzone email address for me to process it manually for you while we wait for Dev to complete their changes for everyone.

I am on the Legacy 8Mbps, so I will have to wait for the Dev team to complete their changes?

Yes. As you will have a special price override you should not regrade and just wait for our Dev team to complete the migration of clients to the new profiles.

when selecting the 25/25 option it says the upgrade will only take effect from 31st march? is it just a technical issue and will my line be up and running at 25mg today or will i be stuck at 10mg till april?
