My Weather underground app is unable to load when I'm on my fibre connection, but the moment I switch to mobile data, it works. At work on Wifi, it also works fine. Could this be the international issue, or something else?

Might be related to an IP that is blocked or routing issue.

Can you drop me a pm with your email address linked to your Afrihost account so I can investigate it for you?

I'm not sure what is going on with Frogfoot lately but I came home to this earlier tonight:

Bare in mind I am supposed to be on gigabit fibre and yet I was getting abysmal speeds and terrible packet loss while trying to play Dota 2:

My speed has improved since then, but it's annoying that I had to switch to 4G to get a stable ping.

What's happening? Whole day today...

Packet drops affecting live classes and teams meetings. Inbound only.

Pure fibre 50 download about .6MB to 13MB

On Metrofibre

FF is F*ked up for over a week now. You simple cannot rely on it for a stable internet connection

Me neither. Would rather wait a little longer for speed so that stability and consistency is sorted. Past two days have seen excessive packet loss and varying download and upload speed.

I saw some people already got it, but just like you I haven't seen the upgrade happen on my side yet.
Tried to re-validate through login.afrihost.com to activate it but to no avail. Guess it's being rolled out systematically or something.

Morning,

Are you still experiencing latency issues? There has been a few reports of slow speeds last night on Frogfoot PMZ and DUR

Morning,

There was intermittent speeds and latency last night on MetroFibre. We have added a notice a bit late after we received confirmation from MFN about the issue.

MetroFibre has moved all the active links to the correct speeds on the portal however we have noticed that

10 > 25
25> 50
50 > 100

Speed changes have not physically happened yet although it shows as completed on the portal. We expect these to be completed during the course of the day.

All the changes have been completed on our side and once the speed upgrades are done on Metro Fibre side you will get the increased speeds.
