Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread

We are investigating a possible outage affecting clients on Afrihost and Frogfoot fibre in CPT.

Can you send me a pm with your email so I can double check for you and send the info through to noc?

For the last 3 years I was very happy with your service. I gies thatbwas simply becasue i never need to loga fault for an issue.

Your support is severely lacking and your call back feature is terrible. There is absolutely no follow through on an issue. The problem description is not even read before the call agent calls, what is the point of wasting your customers time to provide the description then in the first place

Since Friday i have had to log 5 callback requests, each time spepaking to a different agent and basically have to explain the issue each time.

Escalations or folluw through from afrihost is non existent and i have to followip each time, which is s8mply unacceptable. When i asked when willi get feedback the one agent said i will have to request another call back

At present i have an internet connection, getting half the rated speed, have jumpped through all the hoops of the support agents and now the fault is be8ng blamed on octotel, with now resolution whats soever

The half speed is not even half speed as it is almost unusable

Today i am very disappointed in afrihoat

I did a downgrade on my linespeed last month, but is still showing as 500/250. I don't mind the speed and can afford the price. Just did the downgrade because I don't like wastage.

We are still investigating the outage with Frogfoot and it's not confirmed just yet where the issue might be.

Any feedback on this? This morning still connection issues. Ongoing since last week. Milnerton Area

These issues have been resolved.

What connection issues are you experiencing?
Intermittent, cant connect to certain sites, then a few minutes later its fine. Been going on whole of last week. I wrote it off to load shedding but this morning again it happened.

Can you grab a continuous ping to 1.1.1.1 to show the issues you are experiencing? We need to log a fault for you if the line is giving you issues.
