Afriman, Im now down from 50 download/37.5 P2P shaping policy ratio to 25% download/25% P2P and i havent used the internet last night and today so far, just logged on clientzone now :( This is so upsetting and sad, what is happening in the KZN (Hillcrest area) The network is congested or something :( What a terrible experience so far

That's awesome!! Cape Town is seeing some very light shaping but nothing that will affect the majority of users. Clearly everyone is either on the beach or on the mountain ;)
 
@Afriguy please refer back to my previous posts... why am i being shaped so much :( from 50%/37.5% to 25% download/25% P2P

Great best so far was 75%/75% didn't last long now back to the magic mark 18.8%/6.25%.....Will see later though

Well on the upside Hulu was good last night though
 
it's those top downloaders again. If you are one of them, reading this post, I despise you...

Sorry we missed your post.
Our East IPC region is being shaped at the moment, however it is still nearing the end of peak time now so the shaping should ease soon.

:D, so maybe we are all getting shape due to afriman downloading all the new Linux distros directly from the IPC, 1 Gbps... :P

Domain names arnt resolving on the automatic assigned DNS address. switched to 8.8.8.8 and all is good

I could ping IPs but not names. just thought id bring it up
