Depends on whether these are alive or dead (eg grilled or what-not).

There are probably customs restrictions out of fear that foreign plants will take over local habitats. So couriers where you have to declare items in detail may possibly block these.

I'm sure the couriers will try to make sure the items are legit as they value their relationships with different customs bodies around the world. I don't think they inspect every single one though. Customs can do surprise inspections though. Happens more with Aramex than DHL/FedEx.

In the past, when SAPO was a viable alternative, you'd pay duty and VAT on every incoming DHL or FedEx parcel. With SAPO you could sometimes get away with paying 0 VAT and duty on parcels. They let a lot of stuff through. Also customs declarations were not as hectic.

Trying to insert my ID number and I can do that, but can't choose the TYPE of ID. The choice is frozen. So can't save the ID number.

I need to claim a parcel at the US depot. I opened a ticket and supplied the tracking number, proof of delivery, description of the box and then in the commercial invoice field I uploaded an image of the box. They were not happy with that and immediately closed my ticket. Retards.

So, I don't have a commercial invoice and probably won't get one. I bought a model airplane from an 80 year old oom in die middle of nowhere, Georgia.

What do you guys do if you don't have a commercial invoice? With SAPO I usually just supplied a bank statement showing what I paid, but I don't think AGS will accept that.

Yep, make one yourself to match what you paid the seller, or what they reflect as the cost, whichever is cheaper.

Okay, I made an invoice using an online tool and claimed a missing package in Florida yesterday.

Today I got a response from the local Aramex office telling me the "drone" is unacceptable and do I want the US office to destroy or return to sender.

It is a vintage rc glider kit from the mid 90s, not a freaking drone, so I told them to dispute it. I have probably imported about a dozen gliders with Aramex so far. Holding thumbs that they won't be difficult and just send it...

Aramex is not accepting the Paypal Order Summary page that you can print to PDF.

But they accept those dumb eBay Order confirmation PDFs

AGS is run by a mixed bunch of people. Some are very competent, others don't understand how their business works and think the business is called "B2B Logistics" i.e. you have to be a qualified clearance agent yourself to use a "shopping service" FFS.
