Come on guy's, we all get emotional over our rugby teams and sometimes overlook all logic.

Look at the Facts, Bakkies has been in the citings office 3 times in the last 2 months, he has recently come off a suspension and was lucky to get off the hook with his Kankowski b!Tch slap.

He has done the same "clean out" to Stirling Mortlock, causing him to be stretched off, and to many other players in many other games.

/Off topic (actually could be on topic)
Does anyone know how often, and when in the season do they test rugby players for overdosing on Roids?

Any time and all the time. It doesn't even have to be in season, it can be out of season as well. It's unlikely any international players are using performance enhancing drugs, but a couple have been caught using cocaine. Refusing to take a drugs test is the same ban as failing one. I believe it's usually a 2 year ban. See for example here and here.

Unbelievably, they are even saying that we withheld a video angle to secure that J Fourie try :mad:

Then please explain this.....

Yeah back on topic:p :D

Look at that clip and tell me why if bakkies was cited the lions nr 2 was not?

If anything bakkies came through the gates and their nr 2 did not.....

Yes I am sure we do things like that

Sore losers! (sp?)

See Zane Kirchner will 10-1 be in the starting 15, so will Brussouw, Steyn, Olivier, Nokwe, Odwa and Fourie :D

Hmm, on the one hand I'm glad the other chaps are getting runs and then on the other hand, should we be making such wholesale changes for 1) the last Lions test and 2) so soon before the Tri-Nations?

Nope we should not be, we should be putting out our possible tri-nations team FFS

I understand some guys need a run but we also need to win the tri-nations

To be honest I don't like the playing style of Nokwe ....... he is awful on defense and looks for too much work (not that he gets it) which leaves his position open.

Well a couple are imo good moves. Fourie needs game time, we need to find a replacement fullback for incase anything happens to Francios.

We also need to see how well Morne Steyn can handle a whole game.

The wings (nokwe and odwa) also need a run against some good teams before we face Aus and NZ.

Then Olivier is playing because IIRC De Villiers has a slight injury. Juan smith might play lock if bakkies is found guilty and the appeal is not successful, which might bring Potgieter into the team :)

Spies also carries minor injuries and thats why Kanko is given a run. I would have given him a run in any case as I would like to see any of the bulls players given some rest as they have come off a long season.

I like the look of the changes although Juan Smit at lock is some what concerning. He'll get smashed there...

This test could be a good reflection of our depth or perhaps it will underline the lack there of. Either way nice to see Kano getting a run. Spies is a legend and it's only his brilliance which has kept Kano out of the starting 15. I suspect Kano might battle a bit too in a tight game. Test rugby see's fewer opportunities for loosies to run with gay abandon which is probably why we haven't seen Spies shine and why we won't see Ryan shine but the work they both do on defense and with the little space they afforded will be imperative..
