Becoming Healthy Again

That sounds like a lot of fat. I'm not understanding this diet. Why don't you have fruit salad for breakfast with some full cream yoghurt, lunch could be a chicken salad and dinner two chicken breast and veg with healthy snacks throughout.

All this port definitely is not good.

2 things:
Firstly, it is not that much fat actually. Much more protein than fat going in there.

Secondly, Fat is healthy for you.

For Lino

Add some veg in there asap. You seem to be doing some kind of meat detox. All that meat without any veg is going to give you one serious bout of constipation in a day or two.
I understand that you are trying to remove carbs from your diet. But remember that protein can be converted into sugars within the body. So just going for high protein alone is not the answer. For dinner for instance. Have one pork chop and a nice helping of veggies with butter melted all over them. Tastes great, still keeps carbs low, adds some much needed micro-nutrients to your diet and is easier on the wallet.

I dont fully understand your comment about going to "This extreme for the beginning and getting more balanced later". If your entire goal is to be healthier, you are simply going to the opposite end of the spectrum right now. Where before you were eating the unhealthy version of a high carb diet. Now you are eating the unhealthy version of a low carb diet.

Lower the protein while upping the fats, increase your micro-nutrient uptake and fibre uptake.

Oh and get yourself some fish. Chicken, pork and beef are great, but the Bvits and fats in fish are fantastically healthy. No low carb diet is complete without a little fish.

I'll never let another company cook for me. I enjoy it too much and that food looks awful.

Lino I'm not going to read through all this but are you combining this diet with exercise? You really, really need to. Diets come and go and you're in danger of swinging back into it because you just end up craving the delicious food again if you're depriving yourself now. But a good exercise routine can be maintained for the rest of your life.

I'm more worried about him getting scurvy at this point, tbh.

I'm more worried about the fact that Lino was battling cancer, and is now eating a diet which is mostly protein. Excess protein promotes cancer...
