Bed in a box?

Yep noticed. Considered buying one for quite a while and will need to take the plunge this weekend.

I wouldn’t recommend the king mattress. It’s two singles and u can feel the break in the middle.

Also, is it better than a normal mattress? I’m not sure. It’s okay but I’m not blown away

Are the larger Meelu mattresses also split like the Sloom? I'm not a fan of having a split, as I feel like after a while you may start feeling a gap in the middle.

Nope my king size wasn't split

We have had the Sloom for a couple of years now, and really enjoy it.

We have the queen size, but don't notice the split at all. It is really nice to be able to adjust the firmness of the different halves individually as my wife prefers I firmer mattress than I do.

Can you feel the split in the middle?
I was worried about feeling the split , but cannot feel it.

We decided to get the Sloom , test it , and return it if not for us.

Sloom has a 100 day return policy.

My advice : Give it a go and return if not happy.

I see there's another brand selling quite a lot of different beds in boxes: https://www.inofia.co.za/

They have hybrid mattresses and foam ones. I think they are originally a Chinese company, and I wonder if the foams are made here like Sloom or Meelu.

With Sloom being the most expensive of the lot, I wonder if the quality is better? They just went up R1000

Looks like a knock off.. sloom is made locally, support local

Anyone have a Tempur?

They say don't use an electric blanket and I'm worried about getting chilly at night.
