Bed in a box?

We have had our sloom for 2 years now ... and my wife set her side to her desired comfort and i got mine on the hard ... love it ... plus you can remove and wash the top and the sloom pillows are just as comfortable... cant go wrong ...

Only R1700 more if you compare the cheapest option and you get a 5 year longer warranty. Most places 3 year extended warranty cost about that. Not to mention it's on special anyway.
Sloom is R6999

Can you buy a replacement cover, the part you open to change the hardness level?

Standard queen is R2000 more expensive, almost 30% premium for a throwaway 20yr warranty?
Did you choose the "View mattress" link, if you have a base (small link below "Add to compare" = R7500)? The sloom base is R3500.

Doesn't the divide down the middle bother you? Like two cushions on a couch.

I thought we are only comparing mattresses prices?

Yes....the full bed (cloud9) is R2000 more and without the base it's R500 more (if you follow the "View matress" link from the original post it appeared in). Apples with apples.

The sloom is more than 10k if its base is added.

I see now, I didn't realise the Cloud 9 price included the base.

Anyone know if there are any retailers that stock sloom ? Really want to test the mattress but don't really need a new bed right now

All of the bed-in-a-box suppliers do matrass only and their bases all seem pretty flimsy.
I didnt want the base to begin with because I was going to build a wooden one with storage drawers and a channel underneath for my dogs beds.
I really like my Simba but Im not sure I would pay Sloom prices for it.

I have a sleigh bed so need just the mattress.. Didn't see this option with the cloud 9

I'm also keen to get a Sloom but it seems that no retailer stock them.

Alternative is to buy , test and return within 100 days for full refund if not satisfied.

So, I know this is an old thread, but am busy looking at taking the plunge and getting a sloom set up and was hoping some of you guys who have had for a while would be kind enough to give me an update on your experience?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much. Very helpful

I see that the price of the Sloom has jumped since last year

That's not really to bad
Except that most people in the world didn't receive a 10% increase this year. In fact, many people had to do with a reduced salary and / or total loss of income. There are way too many companies who are trying to recover their covid losses overnight. I hope that companies who are escalating prices beyond inflation suffer more than us ordinary mortals.
