BlackBerry problems surface again (11 OCtober 2011)

The problem that I have with these issues is that they dont want to disclose what the problem is. I think not disclosure would devastate their reputation

This whole fiasco highlights what life without BIS will be for BB owners. They'll finally have to admit that their devices are pieces of crap. Can't wait for uncapped mobile data :D

And clever BB owners don't switch to other APN's or Wifi?

Well emails on BES from device are fine, just from Exchange out is the problem.

Who said anything about that? The point is that without BIS, Blackberrys are mediocre devices. Once there are other mobile uncapped products available, the only thing that BBs will have going for them is BBM, and even that is split 50/50 with apps like WhatsApp gaining popularity.

I am not a BB user, never have been, but is the BB internet proxy hardcoded on the handset or can this be changed?

RIM Share prices will continue to plummet at this rate, if only they had an awesome device in the horizon, it would be a good time to start buying some shares, lol 60%? down from the beginning of the year?

Goto TCP within Options.
Enable APN and enter: internet
Save and close.

NOTE!!!!!! BILLABLE DATA.

This may not service all requirements.

Again I say, this will force people to pick up the phone and talk, get in a car drive to meet FACE to FACE, instead of pouring you guts out to FACEBRICK or BBM or whatever other social network you partake in.

Until other phone providers offer enterprise solutions, RIM will still have a place.
