brezza or Duster

There must be a reason why Duster fans are so loyal. Not a Renault fan, but I have not heard much bad about the Duster - my brother has two of them and loves both.
Cause they're awesome. Bullet proof. One of the best cars I've owned. Right up there with the legendary twincam Corolla.

Bil has both Urban Cruiser and 81kw Duster diesel, Duster is much better, the power delivery and fuel consumption is miles ahead of the Urban Crusier. The Crusier just feels underpowered and lazy.
If Merc used the Renault 1.5 dci motor, that alone says alot. That motor has been around for a long time

Which Merc use it. Is the duster also made in India, or Europe?

A180cdi and B class as well, I think they were replaced in 2020 though for 2 liter diesel motors

The Duster is made in Russia and Brazil

The Brezza and Urban Cruiser is made in India afaik

Must admit - was never a Renault fan.

I got to drive a Duster for month across Mexico - huge fan now. :)
Awesome car to drive, and very capable on a variety of roads.

The Duster is a win for Renault, and offsets the Kwid which I still don't know what possessed them to make it.

That said, I would give the Chinese a go these days. I think their products are getting very well built. And I wouldn't pass-up Mahindra thought I don't think they make something in your requirement range.

Definitely a Duster diesel
Friend has one that has closed 270 000km with minimal issues and they often travel to Limpopo.

Duster is a rebranded Dacia. Dacias are tough, made in Eastern Europe and Brazil. Cars like the Brezza, kwid, Go and many others are made in countries like India and made to a lesser level of ruggedness.
