Also having Cell C LTE problems in C.T. Northern Suburbs since Thursday, but it's been shaky for about a week now.

Internet connectivity on my wife's and my phone died at 20h00 here in Gardens Cape Town.
It's now 22h25 and still not working.
Have pulled battery, reset and even downloaded and installed new settings.
There seems to be a serious network outage.

I'm having trouble with CellC for a few days in a row now. Since around the 30/05/2017. I have 4 bars LTE signal and am connected but nothing works. Can't load a webpage or anything. Sometimes it works for a few minutes and then stops again. This is on both my prepaid and contract sims. Tried restarting router etc. but the problem has persisted for several days.

Location is JHB South near The Glen shopping mall.


Edit: My data sims worked for a bit yesterday but today it's dead again. I'm connected but can't even check my balance. Get network timeout for everything.

My downloads slowed to a crawl during that period as well.
 
Fix your ****ing network
I get disconnected every ****ing 10minutes with 100% loss of packets.

I pay over 2000 rands per month for data charges
if its not fixed by end of this weekend im gone to another provider.

I'm on a giga200 with full LTE signal in Carlswald Midrand. Every night for the last month on Monday's to Friday's between 18:00 to 20:00 the internet connectivity has been extremely intermittent and with very slow speeds. Getting disconnected multiple times in an evening. I see in not the 1st having problems of theses sorts in the same area posted a couple of weeks ago.

The same for me, I am a online gamer and keep on dropping out of chats and disconnected from servers. It is very frustrating.
 
I'm on the Giga 200 one too. Waverly PTA. Can only get 3G (router shows 5 bars full strength). Started this week (about 2 days ago)
 
Also just started getting throttled terribly in the past couple weeks. We've been on the Giga 200 packages for the past year almost, using the same SIM, and were getting really decent speeds up until now.

Like can barely load a page sometimes, and never mind even attempting the odd game of League of Legends... It just disconnects or has unplayable lag. Most definitely not getting the advertised LTE speeds.

We're in Rondebosch, Cape Town.
 
So glad I'm not the only one.
Things started going haywire about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

It looks like mine has returned to it's previous glory. 4G this weekend (and now I could connect to the work's vpn, 3g didn't work with the vpn).
 
Mine has not. Its still absolute dogs bollocks - could barely load this forum.

Really getting frustrating now...

Very poor LTE connection in Durbanville/Sonstraal Heights/Tara. Connection goes "dead" randomly while the signal strength on the router appears unchanged.

Cell C please look into it, to save you the phone call I'm using Huawei B315 and the problem's been around for a week or so, but seems to be getting worse.
