Living on the Edge. Not what I thought it'd be.
Can't even get a speedtest done on my phone. Network issues. I've got a ticket running with the call centre for the last two days.... Saddened...

4am and only Edge!? Even a bump down to 3G at times is understandable, but 3 days of constant Edge is frustrating. Even while driving around yesterday around the Southern Suburbs, it never improved.
Can't even use FB or Twitter apps cos of timeouts.
Android needs HSPA+
An LTE ready network is nothing if the rest of the subscribers can't have HSPA+ constantly. Promotions and a congested network, makes it a nightmare....

Hmmm, had to switch to 8ta again today, and I don't even have good 8ta reception.
Cell C is just useless during business hours.
I will have to reconsider my planned purchase of Giga 200 bundles, not going to work for me.

On my phone I can't even connect to google talk, thats how lame cellc is in sandton. And my galaxy s2 is connected h+, so its not my phone or the signal. Just lame cellc. Simple websites like www.google.co.za take close on 10seconds to load. FFS. Cellc, sort your crap out.

Same with me, good signal but no throughput - seems that Cell C needs to sort some infrastructure out !
I have pretty much switched over to 8ta, my Cell C bundles are expiring unused. So will not be renewing those.

so it seems that I am not the only one that can only connect to EDGE, I was concidering a move and bought R45 worth of data, what a waste. I will have to check another provider!!!!

Update from my side. The last 48 hours have been kind to me. Constant HSDPA+ on a constant basis. Please keep it up and thanks to those for making it happen. Hope it stays this way.

Having gotten sensitive to signal strength care of the gr8signal movement, I've noticed that Kensington B (Randburg) has EDGE ..and sucky EDGE at that. Not what you would call optimal.

Connection issues in Claremont, Cape Town. It connects via HSDPA but no throughput. Using mobile phone. Anyone else?
