Census 2022 - Problem with self registration

They can still go and gobble a phallus with the "do you own a fridge" etc questions. With the crime rate in SA, I really want a document floating in the wild with my address, annual household income and what steal-able goods I have floating around. We all know how well this govt takes care of documents and I have no clue whether my data will be sold to the 75's or whatever gang number they are up to now so the census dude can make some extra cash.
 
How long does it take to get the link to complete the census ? I registered this morning and got my reference no, but nothing since.
 
So you select email as the single means of contact, but you can't continue without adding your cell number AND an alternative cell number ?

Selected email as communication method but did fill in the celphone as well. Completed the registration got a reference number with a link back to the "home page". If @Joeboy69 is correct, I should get a link to complete the census on 2 Feb ? Or should I be able to complete the census now already ?

At least you got the map. It refused to load for me in firefox for some reason but worked in Opera GX.

As for that error you got with the cell numbers...well I didn't have that and I could leave it blank but that red text on the green background made me want to go and murder a small...pumpkin or something.

Before this week I guess almost no one knew.... remember the massive marketing the 2011 had? Nuthin this time.

The map didn't load, then when I click 'update your details' I have no reference number, and then when I click to get a reference number, it just sends me an OTP, and then I put it in and then nothing happens.

So now I can't finish registration
 
Considering this is compulsory, I haven't seen ANY advertising besides Twitter.

If they know you didn't, how they know when half the time it just doesn't work. Couldn't fill it in, just comes up with loading forever. I don't not want to fill it out but if there is no ability to do it then how?

Exactly, only 1 publication on News24 and some smaller news agencies (not worth mentioning). But 702 and 5FM or anywhere is talking about it or actively letting the vast majority know about it.

Enter OTP
Nothing else. Page does not advance. No reference number via SMS or email.
