Census 2022 - Problem with self registration

Trying to Update my details. Need reference number. Don't have one.
So "Get Reference Number"
Enter cell no
Get OTP
Enter OTP
Nothing else. Page does not advance. No reference number via SMS or email.
Also did that and didn't receive it , I checked my SMS history and they sent it 3 days after I registered.
 
OK the website pee'd its pants since I used a "+" in my email address.

Next problem - can't click the "Confirm" button on my address

My 5 digit code they sms'd doesnt want to work though. grrr

I received the 5 digit code without a problem, but it continued to say "Invalid OTP". Then when I tried it eventually without the + in my email address, the OTP were accepted.
 
My email and sms codes are totally different
Weird, mine were all the same, although they didn't arrive simultaneously and as I had tried 1,000,000 times it could be that the corresponding one hasn't arrived yet?

Hahaha, what I was doing as well, probably lost track of them numbers.
 
I tried over several days using my e-mail (with a plus). Sometimes the code arrived, sometimes it didn't. When it arrived, the code was invalid. (And I did use the correct code since I had day-long delays between attempts.)
I then tried mobile instead, got the SMS first time and the code worked. So my assumption was that E-mail OTPs aren't working.

But from this, it looks just like poor shoddy coding - possibly an issue where they are sending the wrong OTP to the wrong person?

Don't care though - it is horrid. And the fact that they haven't fixed it yet, makes me not want to trust them with any more of my data. Not that I've received a link to complete the questionaire yet either - probably never will. Or maybe I'll receive my neighbour's questionaire...
 
I regsitered last year already, just checked by updating my details and everything is still hunky dory...
