Computer randomly waking up after installing Windows 10?

@airborne did you ever find the reason for this? I'm about to throw my laptop into the swimming pool...

Lol, I understand your feeling, it seemed to eventually get ironed out with updates. Thankfully hasn't happened for a long time, are you on Win 10 with all updates installed?

Funny you are also having the issue on an HP, I've got a 350 G1

For tonight, I've removed the hard drive and will see if it wakes up in the middle of the night again

I very much doubt its hardware related, I had it happen on my laptop and desktop around the same time, I'm pretty sure it's one of Ms creeper services that is causing it.
 
So in my desktops BIOS settings I found an option to disable OS wake timers, but that POC laptop has the most limited menu I've ever encountered in my life

Even with the hard drive removed the bloody thing started up last night , obviously didn't proceed past the POST screen but still no further to sorting it out

One thing for sure, will never touch HP again, especially after dealing with their printers and this laptop

My random start up issue was on a Hp desktop and Lenovo laptop.
