I've been monitoring the problems in my area, CT - Brackenfell - Morgenster Heights... some deductions I have made:
1. Issues started end December... I assume the many many people spent their extra/bonus cash on a CellC modem/data... this has meant a substantial increase in load on many cell base stations... I don't think the equipment at the base station can handle the present load...
2. The constant disconnects mainly happen in the evenings, after hours... why... most people use their employers internet access during office hours, and only switch to their CellC modems after hours, hence the traffic/load on the base stations increase dramatically after hours, especially between 7-11pm... this peak time network congestion is causing the frequency of disconnects to increase dramatically... I happened to be online this morning at home, no disconnects and very good speed... this in stark contrast to last nights constant disconnects and no existent data throughput...
Bottom line the issues in my area, I believe, are caused mainly by lack of capacity at the base station(where ever it is)!
