Sounds like the thing is dead, so they need to replace it.no hablo espanol
Should be fixed now, teething issues.
We might not show up on the landing page but you may have to search for the package first. Let me know if you don't come right.Just a heads up... CI is still not showing up on the Octotel site (unless I'm being a bit dof), and I have tried a force refresh to clear the cache

I've already signed up with you via your website so its a non issue for me, but anyone looking solely at the Octotel website wont know you exist. Going through all packages of any speed, and price etc I don't see CI.
Thanks guys will have the team have another look.^^ this as well
Thanks for the feedback glad to helpI've been on CI for about a week now and just wanted to document my on boarding and experience so far.
Vumatel came to activate my line last week Friday at just before 7pm. I've been waiting for the area to go live in great anticipation. As soon as the Vuma guy left (I took 'n photo of the object id on his phone) I jumped into action. I was going to use my own router (I purchased one that supports ADSL, VDSL and Fibre years ago) and saw on their site their support is there till 8pm (amazing).
- Connected my laptop to the CPE, which obviously redirects you to the correct VUMA page
- Went through the VUMA registration process
- Selected my 100/100 package from CISP
- Having read that the CPE is tied to your MAC address I phoned CISP getting connected department
- Amazingly the lady knew who I was based on the VUMA email she got (Scary and amazing at the same time)
- I asked her about resetting the mac her side and connected my router via WAN port
- Done! Connected in about 5 minutes
At this point I have not even registered with CISP. I did that the Sunday.
From there it's been absolute bliss. I'm still in the phase of doing a speed test every now and then (and drooling), but I'm way more interested in real world experience than speed tests.
I haven't had any issues yet and I guess the measure of the support will be how issues are handled, but up to now from my side PBCool big thumbs up for how you guys operate.
Now all I need is the for 200/200 package to get cheaper![]()

Luckily I'm already signed up, still waiting for fibre in my area though, still like a month or two

I'm moving to Coolideas from another provider on ADSL. I do see that CI's support hours are quite limited and that is a little concerning. Some other ISP'S have support till late in the evenings on weekends.
CoolIdeas have quality connectivity over late night support hours on weekends. I personally prefer this model. If you do really need something urgent, there is PBCool here on MyBB, but generally its not needed.
Our support hours are geared around the fibre providers. If it's a network related issue on our side we would know about it. If it's a line fault they wouldn't be able to resolve it at the time anyway, so it would be restored the following morning regardless of our support hours. Thanks for responding. How long have you been with them and have you needed urgent support when things just died. And secondly, how is the support between them and the fibre providers? I see the fibre providers don't want to deal with end users, which is kinda arrogant for me. So far I've had lousy experience with Octotel - with not fully repairing my paving to misinforming CI about the status of my fibre line. CI told me they can't ask Octotel to expedite anything either. The whole fibre thing looks like a bit of a mess so far with fibre providers being a little too incompetent for my liking. Maybe the tech is not mature enough or maybe idiots are in charge at some of these fibre laying companies. Ta.
