@PBCool Speed is stuck at 10Mbps when I'm paying for 100. Please can you check whats happening in Helderkruin? This is getting ridiculous.
There were some notes of Helderkruin from support the line provider is looking into it. Do you have a ticket number for me?

If there is packet loss locally this is a line issue, which then would have the negative affect on your international throughput.

OS fixed the exchange congestion a while back. Ran an MTR to bras.afrihost.com. It comes back clean with low latency and no packet loss.

The packet loss is not a constant for all smokeping tests, which means there is a peering issue. From what Waylander has said, I'm not the only one experiencing this.

Are you running the test to the Afrihost bras with an Afrihost account?

Afrihost BRAS isn't a thing. That DNS entry is just an A record 155.239.255.250 which is for OS equipment. Has nothing to do with Afrihost.

PBCool Aint used to dealing with Legacy Telkom BNG's/BRAS's unlike the other DSL resellers ;)

Looks like JHB<->CPT issue, JHB and DBN seem fine
Do you have an example for me? With OS they carry the national traffic natively with IPC. Will you also PM me your account name?

Examples are abundant in the thread, I have nothing further to add. I trust your competence and hope whatevers not right is fixed.

Yeap that's fine then please PM me your account name.

@PBCool now my internet is not connecting at all, stuck at connecting to PPPoE on the router.

Edit: And now it’s back with full speed. What is going on?
Yeap so quite clearly a fibre line provider issue.
