We've been pushing MFN all day, I would suspect this will only be done in the morning though :(

Nah should just be a vlan policing change, it's the MFN internal processes that are the problem. I have PM'ed you the last update.
 
Which courier is used by Coolideas to deliver the router?
I have a tracking number Z3000000xxxx with no courier name.
 
Hey guys! Joined the Cool Ideas club today, so far very happy :)

Is it normal for my local speedtests to show 40MB/s while my international hovers between 6 and 10?

Would of course like to be able to get full line speed to international as well :)

Which operator, which international server and over cable obviously :). What OS are you using.

I'm with Netstream, and just picked a few randomly in Europe, tried to aim for Germany. Running Windows, same result on Linux though. (And of course I'm using a cable for speedtests :D)

And what sort of latency are you seeing locally, I know netstream use microwave for backhaul to start with whilst they wait for fibre backhaul.

Latency is super low, in the order of 3ms locally - It's specifically speedtest.net international servers that were misbehaving. Meanwhile, I'm updating my steam games that I've had to ration off on my old ADSL line at very near line speed :D

Even international latency is great, sub 200ms to europe, just bandwidth seems lacking, but even with that, it's miles ahead of what I'm used to.
 
Hi Your internet connection since Saturday on the SADV backbone has been nothing but horrible experience. we recieved an sms on monday that the technicians are working on the problem, todate we still do not have any feedback or as to wether the issue has been fixed. This is really getting very annoying now. Almost a week with an unstable internet and this is not how fibre connection should perform. Can you guys sort out the problem.

Hi Micham, did you get an SMS from SADV that they were working on the network? As there aren't any issues on our side. Have you logged with support? And I presume you are having issues over wired and wireless devices?

Still something to be investigated, can get 100Mbps to London and around Europe from other parts of the network quite easily. It may be a small bit of packetloss on the microwave link which has an amplified effect on international. Whereas everything else like steam is technically local.

Hmm, that's possible - Though then I'd expect to see latency in international online games, which I'm not.

Will monitor for a bit and let you know how it pans out :)
