I wouldn't say the Nvidia driver download is an accurate representation, at uni on a ~450Mbps connection (802.11ac) I hit between 6MB/s and 100KB/s. That was three months ago though.
Rather try something like: http://testmy.net/hoststats/fuse_dedicated_custo which is also p2p.

I pretty much hit full line speed on that download link, 99% of the time. If marine1 isn't able to do the same there's something wrong, either on his local network setup or the line itself.

Something is definitely wrong PBcool

Is this wireless or wired? Sorry not sure if I missed this.

My experience has been that when using the Cool Ideas free router my speed's are not great, I get 20mb. As soon as I connect a UniFi AP and disable the wifi in the router I hit 100mb. So I would say the router plays a big part for wireless.

Assuming you moved to 802.11ac then?

Yeah with the UniFi AP. I'm using the UniFi AP temporarily because that AP is for another room. I'v ordered the Asus RT-AC88U, so I'm just waiting for that to arrive.

Have PM'ed you, might also be packetloss on the line so we would need to check with the operator after doing some further tests.

@PBCool, activated my Fibre package yesterday and WOW. Painless, was up and running within 5 minutes from calling in. Using my own equipment. Great Job.

Awesome :).

Just a quick question I guess I didn't do my research well enough I opted for the 20 down and 2 up - how long must I wait before I can upgrade to the 50Down?

On Vumatel it's instant, just order via the Vumatel shop.
