Yeah I see why DJZas is using Italy server on twitch. It has by far the best results for uploading a stream:



What I am curious about, is how the Twitch network, routes back to CISP (return traffic). It is possible that Hurricane Electric is sucking in the traffic first instead of it going over the direct peering.

Which router are you using?

RB3011UiASM updated to RouterOS 6.41 DNS Remote disabled. filter rules correctly setup no active queues or TCP MSS rules active as according to MT forums its not auto adjusted had it set to 1492 previously but same results hence why waiting till Octotel open after the 8th on feedback what might be causing the upload issues. wonder if they might consider changing my OTL port or something if they can do that not really sure how things work on their end.

You shouldn't be doing anything on the MTU side leave it on auto.

Tried helping but i'm clearly not upto speed on the how-to to get them online on Vuma/CI

Yeah currently set to auto letting the tik handle on its own just double checked now and its all auto nothing manually filled in.

The router should be pre-provisioned, if not then you should give CISP a call so they can walk you/her through the set up and they may need to release the mac address on Vuma's side if it's the trenched network. Pretty straight forward otherwise

Think the CISP Aeonova connection/activation fee is R500. In terms of you moving from x isp to CISP and whether that R500 fee still applies, I would think so, but PBCool should be able to confirm.

My initial launch promo is over with A360 so I'm paying R1299 for my 100/100 with them and in terms of the connection it's flawless and throttled.

Would dearly love to drop Vox because their non-download performance has been horrendous lately, would love to use one of your accounts while waiting for Octotel to hook us up with fibre.

We can do account only DSL quite easily so will see what I can do. Price cuts would only happen should IPC prices drop considerably. How long until Octotel have you connected?

Hopefully a couple of months. They're meant to reticulate our building end of Jan / beginning of Feb, and fingers crossed we'll be lit up in March. (if everything goes as planned)

Metrofibre offers 200Mbps, Cool ideas offers it in Steyn city which runs Metrofibre
