Any update to this issue I am having. i have posted tracert and speedtest on my support ticket #COOL-20180110-68380

Please can you give me an indication of what the issue could be ? Should i contact TT Connect ?

Have requested migration to Vanilla as getting super annoyed with support giving me the round around with tests since mid December sure i can understand having to see what might cause the issue and all that. can you perhaps provide clarity on how the switch over would work? what i can expect in terms of downtime and how i might be able to easily return to Cool Ideas if the issue is exactly the same with said new ISP?

Yikes, whats up with connectivity atm ? from sub 20ms to 175ms flat ping to google.com as example.

Did peering crash and burn between cpt and jhb ?

I am seeing that latency as well. And something strange happened to my first hop around 14:00 as well - that is that black block in the beginning.

Ye that is quite a bit more than just coincidence, now genuinely curious what is going on here.

That said cpt to jhb ping is still a royal mess, are we getting routed through some european route ? :P

Getting lower ping to UK than to JHB is kinda iffy. haha
 
Noticing the same thing to JHB

Yeah issue with the carrier waiting for feedback.

Just trying to understand my situation here.. I pay you as an ISP but you mention an issue with TTConnect who I dont deal with directly right ? I know you guys dont have a lot of joy working with them but what can I do short of moving :-) ?
