@PBCool: can you help with this?
I've been using CISP for a while already under Fibrehoods with a 100/50 speed. But all my speedtests, only reach 65/75mbps at max.

I have a friend on the same area using Mweb and he can reach 90/95mbps (and he also have a 100/50 speed).

I feel like a purchased a 1.6 litre engine car but it can only run at 1.2.

Is there something that we can do? Maybe my router is a dude.
 
When can I request the router? Octotel is busy doing final connections (from manholes to the grey boxes at each house) at the moment, my road slated for Monday.

Once you place the order with CISP, they ship your router.
 
Good thing I'm on active ethernet and not GPON then, and since my whole house is cabled with CAT6 I can make full use of 1gbs local! :)

Fair enough, but you are one in maybe 100 000 people, so the point is still valid. :D

Edit: That is also why CISP requires you to test your link with a cable, when logging a call. :p

The V1 has a closed-source wireless driver, which makes running performance-tuned firmware difficult. All versions after V1 are open-sourced, but I guess for a freebie I won't complain :P
