I had the same issue with the blue light, but mybroadband speedtest shows normal latency and speed. However, I cannot connect to either https://slack.com/ or https://www.speedtest.net/ but so far, all other sites local and international seem to be working fine.
Also, I can connect to slack fine over 4g on my phone, so looks like a CISP issue.

Is it just me or does anyone else notice that the amount of issues has increased lately? It’s understandable that these things happen but it seems like the issues have become more frequent lately.
When I first got my Fibre up and running with Cool Ideas this thread was very quiet, people only had good things to say. Now, not so much.
I’m wondering why that is?
Edit: This is just my observation.
Network is growing. They connected to many more FTTH networks, where as it started out with only Vumatel Trenched in the beginning. They also launched more pops, as in CT and JHB instead of only JHB.
Basically, there are just so many more things that can go wrong, because the more things there are. Eventually it will calm down.
I see your point, it makes sense. I do hope things settle. I don’t think I’v personally been affected but then again, I wouldn’t really know what to look out for unless the internet is completely dead.
Me too. While I understand the situation, its nicer when things, _just_work_ (tm).I see your point, it makes sense. I do hope things settle. I don’t think I’v personally been affected but then again, I wouldn’t really know what to look out for unless the internet is completely dead.
Inherently isn't that the whole point of this thread?
If you look at 90% of the posts it ends up being line or operator related, and realistically if you are posting to the thread it's because of an issue not because things are running as they should, it's the nature of the forum.
