Please log it so we can take it up with Evotel.Mine is also stuff again in Northriding, speeds just collapsed down to 4 meg from 50 meg, Evotel.
What lights are on your CPE?
CoolIt's back up. Did not get a look at the CPE in time.
Yeah unfortunately at the mercy of the line providerWill log a ticket now, seriously this is getting ridicolous now
Thanks, appreciate it. The speed is still sitting at 4 megs for 2 hours....
No feedback as yet, the issues seem sporadic I don't think it has been an issue for a week?Pbcool please feedback from evotel.. something’s not right in northriding for a week now
Yes so apparently the primary path went down and they were on a backup link, this has apparently been restored.It has been up and down since last week. Especially bad on Friday and Saturday
Try get an IP and trace to it, it's possible it's routing international. SAIX likes to make changes to their routing which messes things up from time to time.On Vumatel-Aerial in Northwold I have descent speeds to all servers except Telkom Saix. Some webpages and streaming fly and some things stutter. Inconsistent though. I did the tests via an ethernet link. Getting between 2 and 8 to Telkom 19-20 to everything else. 52511 20180311-85036
Anything to worry about or just a slow test server?
But nothing to be concerned over? It has been much better than recently so far.Try get an IP and trace to it, it's possible it's routing international. SAIX likes to make changes to their routing which messes things up from time to time.
Not feedback but rather a question
What is the ToS on DRDoS my own line? And various other attacks?
I am trying to learn PFSense and would like to test my configs
13.2. interference with service to any user, host or network including, without limitation, mail bombing, flooding, deliberate attempts to overload a system and broadcast attacks;
If it's just a Speedtest result you are worried about it's nothing to worry aboutBut nothing to be concerned over? It has been much better than recently so far.
We don't do any filtering of traffic on the network side of things.What if this user is myself, through external means of attack?
