Anyone having issues connecting to apple.com? I keep getting a connection refused but perfect access when I switch my wifi off. It's happening on multiple devices and I switched over to Cool Ideas about an hour ago so it seems to have just gone down No apple.com, no app store on mobile. Strange

Try post a trace to apple.com? Which router are you using? Is it a USG by chance?

Anyone else experiencing fibre issues in Little Falls and surrounding areas the last couple of days? Fibre drops about 3-5 times a day and getting random packet loss spikes in the evening starting around 5pm.

I think there is a problem with apple.com or perhaps international connections.

I switched from cfibre to Cool Ideas (100/100, netstream) on 23rd April. It took a full week to download a 9GB movie from itunes. It would download anywhere between 100mb and 2GB at full 11mbps speed then throw an error and I would have to click retry, which would occasionally work, but normally just fail and only deleting the file and starting again would get it to resume.

I have logged a ticket with CI in the mean time.

Are you sure there isn't loss on your line possibly? This affects international more than local traffic with re transmits. Some of the Netstream sites still use wireless backhaul.

This is completely normal, your route follows our peer with Apple in London. What makes you think it is dicey?
