For what it's worth, I was told only 200Mbit gets the Archer, while 100Mbit and below get the WR840 - doesn't matter to me though since I upgraded to 200Mbit and swapped out.
Seems fine for me? Still having issues?@PBCool, whats up with www.payfast.co.za?
I did not check previous posts, but the connection just times out (tried different browsers and connections)
Want to give you your money for the awesome service I get.
Seems fine for me? Still having issues?
All good now, payment made.

So I've been getting huge ping spikes locally and 100% packet loss, intermittently, which can last from few hours to couple seconds
Making the line unusable, is this cisp or vumatel (trenched) issue?
Been running trace-route for about 12hours now
any ideas?
if you require any other tests let me know or object number

Your average over 50000 pings is pretty normal I would say and your % loss is 0.0 to your destination. Are you having any issues where it affects a service you are using on the line?So I've been getting huge ping spikes locally and 100% packet loss, intermittently, which can last from few hours to couple seconds

(m)irc/IRC has log graph for latency which when it has issues will spike to several thousand MS where usually its solid 156-172ms max, local cs:go servers which I get connection drops and any web traffic to name a few.
So I would say its not isolated to a specific service its all I/O traffic that gets affected, that trace route AFAIK has not shown the issue yet, it is intermittent however which makes it a bit hard to say what it is ofcourse I'll try to more tests when I actually get the issue and post here again.
Hi PBCool
Openserve installed our fibre line last week wednesday and said everything was working and that we just need to give cool ideas the circuit number. Gave the number to cool ideas support and they said that they just need to wait for confirmation that the line is ready. Still waiting and just wondering if there is anything I can do to speed this process up.
Thanks.

Setup should be rather quick, when i did a setup for a client with openserve it was turned on the second they connected the ONT/CPE. Maybe just call up openserve and find out whats going on
You can PM me your account details, or just follow up with our connect team? We can issue you a test account to see if the line is active as well.
