Are you using Windows? And have you tried a different device at all? our upload capacity peaks at around 30% use.

Yes i am using Window.
I have also tried every TCP auto scaling setting. Right now i am using the most "aggressive" setting.
I haven't tried a different device if you mean a cellphone or tablet, but i have tried different desktop PC's.
Also, to put your mind at ease, all the PC's are connected via cat6 cables and the internet router is a mikrotik RouterBoard 750GL so no issues with routing and local network performance etc :)

I would try with a different OS, like a tablet and see, if you can?

And the one packet loss seems to happen on Blizzards network.

Blizzard block all sorts of traffic on their network, that is why there is packetloss there.

Nah i wouldn't say so, you can see it's one packet that didn't make it all the way through at a certain point.

PBCool - Do you know what the story is with Cool Ideas access to Vumatel aerial fibre in Cape Town?
I was told this morning (after getting the run-around all day yesterday) that there was a problem with Cool Ideas access to the aerial fibre here. They promised it would be sorted out before the end of today. Haven't heard anything yet and still not working:(

So bad news is I've just been called by the Reflex guys that Vumatel contract stating they took the wrong optic module to patch our NNI and can only go back with the right module tomorrow morning, so unfortunately there is nothing I can do to get this service up today :(

Thanks for the feedback. Please let me know once it's working (or better yet, tell your support guys to actually return my calls/emails).

Yeah unfortunately they were also awaiting feedback on the NNI so they wouldn't be able to update you to be honest.

Out of curiosity, what happened today?

Thread is rife with people concerned about “blips”

Educated feedback is a very powerful tool in helping an ISP run the best possible network. I believe in helping shape the customer experience by providing the ISP with everything they can possibly want to know from me about what I want and what I experience.
An hour of increased latency is not reason to abandon ship.
