Aware of the issues with Openserve I have tried escalating as much as possible but their response times are horrible unfortunately. But we are working on it.

Thanks. Rebooting the USG doesn't help. What with E3 presentations happening in a few hours, not being able to stream would really suck.

We've done some engineering between the IPC which seems to have helped. Let me know if it improves for now.

What speeds you coming from?

It's difficult to explain the euphoria of watching that first 200Mbps speed test result unfold!! SO gratifying!!!

Internet addiction is a thing and acquiring Fibre after using ADSL forever, is akin to going from smoking weed to snorting lines of the purest forms of coke....

Damn straight :) I came from 10mbs.

Edit: can't identify with you on the weed to coke thing though. I'm more into vodka. But the speed increase is quite dizzying.

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

It seems better but still quite spikey

Thanks. Back at my PC and things seem fine. Microsoft's E3 conference starts in 5 minutes so just as well. :)

PBCool, I seem to be having a problem while streaming Twitch. I initially thought that it was because I was streaming it on my phone, but when I switched over to a hardline connected PC, and the problem kept persisting, I think it may need some further investigation.

I was trying to stream some E3 things over the weekend. Now only using my phone data, the streaming was flawless, and I was watching the show without problems. I stopped at my home, and the phone connected to the wifi, and soon after, it started going into the loading state every 30 seconds or so.

I decided to switch over and watch it on my PC, which is connected via a gigabit network to the router, and the same problem still persisted.

I am not sure what may be the cause of it. I have found previously as well, that I can stream multiple sessions of Netflix, Youtube, gaming and whatever, but Twitch seems to cause me issues when trying to watch stream. Even major players out there, for example when Bungie streams, I get the loading every 30 odd seconds.

Is there anything I can do to remedy it?

Which fibre network are you on? And which router are you using? May be MTU related.

I started torrenting again and I'm using all Blairgowrie's bandwidths...

Then MTU shouldnt really matter, but we can try bypassing the router, from there we need to check for packet loss, which is usually the case when local works fine and international doesn't.

No issues on Vumatel Trenched in Stellenberg, Northern Suburbs, CPT.

I constantly have about 5-6 streams open all in Source Quality. pulling around 3MB/s data wise.
Every now and then i'll get a slight buffer, but lasts a few seconds and then back to normal.

Thanks, Will let you know what router I have at home.
