This is specific to credit cards, not eft. What we are busy looking to build out a system for scheduled efts, which is what I imagine you are looking for?

Yes. I want to pay every month via eft on the last day of the month for the month ahead. But I suppose payfast instant eft is the same thing.

While I have you hear, would you mind telling me what the process is for changing over to you if my line is with another ISP? I want to change over with as close to zero downtime as possible as I crypto mine, so if my line is down it costs me money.

Np, which fibre provider?

Is the process not the same irrespective of which ISP I am coming from?

Anyway, I am with Axxess on Openserve infrastructure.

It is but varies on which fibre provider in your case Openserve, Openserves portal has been on the fritz where every other day we cant place orders or claim lines etc.

The process for you is to cancel your service with Axxess, they will give you a day they release the line back into the Openserve holding pool. Once this is done we need to claim the line.

In theory it shouldn't affect your service, but again if the portal stops working at that point there can be a few days delay etc.

So I can tell Axxess to cancel my entire service and release my line into the pool at say midnight on the last day of the month. Then ask Cool ideas to claim it from 00:01 on the 1st of the following month?

automated as in like a debit order? That is EXACTLY what I don't want. If it's not debt, then nobody gets to deduct funds from my account automatically.

You didn't mention this when I had the same query a week or two ago....

Yeap, it's best to have the line released during the day when there is support from the office as someone has to manually claim the line.

PBCool, Off topic but any idea if the local ISP's will be getting capacity on the new SACS cable?
It would be nice to get lower latency to the US and South America as it should open up some more options in terms of lower latency gaming than EU.

As soon as it's available :), eta from Angola cables is Q3 2018, so I suspect we would be lucky if it comes online in 2018.

Awesome well at least we should have it soon enough, that + local Azure should be a game changer for most of us.

Yeah initial indicators are 60ms across to South America, and 160ms to Miami. Azure I think is going to be quite expensive but great for hosted exchange etc.

Well on the plus side companies like Ubisoft have announced local servers for South Africa once Azure is up and running here, hopefully, blizzard etc... will follow suite, that with 60ms to South America where there is already AWS and Azure gives us quite alot of options :)

So the idea of switching ISPs is in my head these days. Do Cool Ideas allow payment via EFT, or is debit order the only payment option?

I can't even remember if I chose a payment method in the original app.
Just saw the debit order go off last month on the 30th June.
I take it they debit on the last day of the month
