PBCool what's your opinion on the Vumatel buyout (if you have one and if it's politically correct for you to post it?)

Sorry for only responding to this one now, our feeling is indifferent at the moment, it does give them a much further reach with DFAs network that is in place which is a positive, I don't think too much else will change aside from additional resources made available.

So the idea of switching ISPs is in my head these days. Do Cool Ideas allow payment via EFT, or is debit order the only payment option?

They support online credit card payments as well

You can do instant EFT using Payfast to pay Coolideas.

Coolideas accept:
1. Debit order
2. Payfast (which does instant eft, credit card, ect)

Please humour me. With the payfast option, its something I have to do every month form my side? They never get my bank account details right?

PBCool I'm sorry for all the Twitter Spam that happened last night and this morning xD

PBCool how's the MTN CPT peering going? The weeks are ticking by and I see it's still not done.

thanks.

Yes its a manual task each month. You have to log in to the CISP website, go to outstanding bill, select pay and it will direct you to the payfast website, which I then enter my CC details manually each month.

I am guessing there will be a similar process for EFT, where it will give you instructions on how to do the EFT, where I assume you need to have a specific "reference" item so that the payment is processed automatically when you do the EFT from your bank.

Thanks for the info.

There is an automatic option on Credit Card and Payfast which should be enabled soon, we are busy deving a few more payment options.

automated as in like a debit order? That is EXACTLY what I don't want. If it's not debt, then nobody gets to deduct funds from my account automatically.

This is specific to credit cards, not eft. What we are busy looking to build out a system for scheduled efts, which is what I imagine you are looking for?
