Is TT Connect down again? Haven't had internet since yesterday afternoon? Also logged a ticket yesterday but no response yet...

Working for me, but it's slower than the 50/50 signed up for, not getting above 20mbps. In fact I haven't had 50/50 since day 2.

Senderwood area.

Yeap there is a reason we have put a hold on orders.

You're welcome to give me the ticket number but TT Connect doesn't support on weekends.

Also seems its just my line, as my friend in the complex internet has been fine... Saw some TT Connect guys in the complex, hope they didn't mess up my line doing something else

Hi PBCool,

We have some weird behaviour on our Vuma 20/2 line.....
From a setup perspective,
- using OpenDNS to protect the kiddos, etc (and understand they have a SA presence),
- on the Meadowhurst area of Vuma,
- TP Link router as primary AP, secondary AP linked via PowerLine adapter

Behaviour....
some websites (and applications), even local, seem to 'pause' before starting to download / display, but when you run a speedtest its all hunky dory (low pings, up at 15 plus mbps download, etc). Once things get going seems to be fine for content coming in...

Are there tests I can run to determine what the real problems are ?

Well firstly simply switching off OpenDNS would be the way to test if that's causing issues, sounds like DNS is taking time to resolve.

There is a general Vumatel issue affecting all ISPs, latency is fine but lots of packet loss.

Thanks for the notification. I was wondering what was happening when my line kept dropping packets. Cause Youtube and Netflix are still fine, but gaming is impossible.

It's definitely affecting speed as well

I hope Vumatel is aware of the problem.

There was an Egoli Gas explosion in Hyde park, 8x144 core cables damaged. And they can't work on it yet as it's too dangerous.

Latency and packet loss is looking better
