I was going at light-speed, suddenly free falling for a few seconds and then reverse brakes, spoilers, air-brakes, reverse thrusts, emergency brakes all came on and I was slung forward and hit my face against the monitor in-front of me :D :crylaugh:

Yeah give it time, CDNs take a bit of time to come online after something like this. Which DNS are you using? As we have a Netflix cluster in Cape Town.

This means that the 196.46.25.13 IP isn't announced locally by any providers, it isn't on any of the peering platforms we are on which is JINX and NAP Africa, latency to a hop along a path should affect your performance to the destination, same as packet loss along a path.

the next 7down 9up.

this is making streaming impossible

has been unstable now for a few days

Sure, I have reset your session will you test and let me know, we suspect something is wrong with that range.

Well for one, it looks like CISP is not peering with fastly cdn (routing goes of IS before going to NapAfrica JHB). But the return traffic does come back through JHB at least, except for that one router, that doesn't.
[MENTION=394133]PBCool[/MENTION], perhaps CISP can peer with fastly at Nap JHB?
