Can I please get this damn line sorted I mean it's worse that DSL, Openserve with Cisp just does not work everyday lag spikes all over the show paying alot for this and my 4G is better, inconsistent up and down everyday.

This is not a CISP/Openserve issue rather a game that's using outdated netcode .

Doubt it strongly happens on all the call of duty's even Wwii, black Ops and as soon as I use 4G it's perfect
Cisp fixed.jpgSpeedtest.jpg

I have tested the game with all the connections (Cisp , Crystalweb and Vodacom) I have available to me with different routers (Netduma R1 , RT-AC5300 and a Hotspot) . It brought me to the conclusion that its the game trying to compensate for lag/delay.

The best results I got in terms of hit detection / lag was the 10Mbps line combined with the netduma r1

Thanks I will test and share results from Vodacom today, I’ve been playing COD for many years and this is the first time I have these issues. The ping is way to inconsistent I will understand it if jumps but getting over 300ms is crazy

Got smoother streams having switched over to the desktop app. At least now quake 2v2 finals was fine at source 720p60...
What were you using before? Just the browser?

My test this morning with Vodacom, as soon as I use the Fibre it's over 300ms so massive difference I can actually play the game, and this was over hotspot

Anyone know what the login details are for the Alcatel-Lucent I-240G-D?
I've tried the usual stuff but nothing is working. I'm wanting to see my connection stats.

My Openserve connection is stone dead. Rebooted my USG several times now, along with all the access points. Nada.

Edit: No red light on the ONT box, and my Ubiquiti system seems to be functioning just fine. Makes me assume this is a Cool Ideas issue.

2nd edit: Back up after switching to my free Afrihost account and back again. Wtf. Tried everything before that. Also, my public IP is the same as when things first disconnected, after like 5 or 6 different IPs inbetween. Seems like there should be a broader IP range.

3rd edit: Wondered why my browsing is so crap so I ran a speed test. Wtf:

Nothing we're aware of, changing IP doesn't matter and there are many thousands available, Openserve manages the way IPs are handed out. Please log it with us and PM me your ticket?

Seems to be normalising now. Speeds around the 60Mbps mark and latency slightly less bad. Ticket ID is COOL-20180812-133766, which one of your agents created even though the account eventually connected, presumably to perhaps investigate degraded performance.

I'm having the exact same issue. On OpenServe in Westville, Durban area and connection is just dead from a data perspective. Everything is connected and public IP is there, just no data flow. Swap to web africa test account and everything runs fine, swap back to coolideas and dead.

So Bryn isn't the only one. Mine has been dead for 2 hours though, so not sure how long till it will "resolve" itself.

Ticket logged: COOL-20180812-133784
