can you give me your breakdown on what software etc you used to get this right ? Tried with the one program cant remember the name and it was a nightmare

Yeah Twitch has been so much better as of late. I just watch live streams but even that almost never buffers any more.

@PBCool as a possibly new client..willcool ideas charge me a connection fee of R999 to move isp..with afrihost atm.and contract expires in nov...and im looking to move:)
 
There seems to be routing issue to the Telkom network on CISP IP range of 155.93.247.x with traffic going via London. After a router restart, I got an IP in the 155.93.230.x range where the routing is back to normal.

Well sounds like it after speaking to the CISP lady just before 5PM yesterday, but still no service light on my router this morning.
Is this normal and just a case of having to wait the 12-24Hr time for ISP activation or might there be something else wrong?

EDIT: I'm basically asking since I'm still a bit paranoid after resetting the CPE last week. Not sure if that could cause a problem even though SADV confirmed they see me on the network etc.
Oh, and on the CISP services page... does the "SADV Fibre Line" item turn to active once the activation is done?

Apologies for all the questions. But I'm sure I can't be the only one who's wondering how all this works.

No if they have issued your PPP details then you should be good to go, those screenshots are they from the CPE or your router?

You shouldnt have access to the CPE, so I suspect the factory reset has de-provisioned the service. Let me reach out and see what I can do.

Yes we are awaiting for Telkom to update their filters for this range, it takes forever for any changes to be made on their side.

SADV say it's still provisioned, so what happens when you plug a router in with your PPP details? Not connection?

Aaah crap... ok that makes sense then. What happened last week was that the CPE suddenly had no wifi access the one morning, but the service light was on. I tried getting into it but couldn't so I did the reset... should have just left it and waited for confirmation from CI. Someone should put up something somewhere that tells customers you're not supposed to have access :(

Clearly this is my fault then. Sorry man, and thanks for the help.
