Are the OS issues still on going?
Yes we met with them this morning, they are supposed to send us an RFO but apparently two of their routes were vandalised over the weekend.

Just a curious question for myself and someone. Personally I'd probably only use it to make-easy access to a few cloud resources. Thanks for the response.

Dynamic DNS services are easier and cheaper if not free. ASUS routers even have built in free Dynamic DNS.

Hi, picking up some packet loss on route to your london server, works 100% for a minute then cuts out for a few seconds, would be nice if you could look into it thank you.

Do you know if MFN is doing something as my failover keeps going on and off the whole time. Been doing this for the past 30 minutes or so.

Not seeing any loss on our network graphs, which destination are you tracing to?

Would be on our network notices if it was anything we were aware of.

Which area is this? Please don't do anything to the ONTs, they get provisioned by SADV so factory resetting is just complicating things :).

Hey @PBCool, so it's been 5 days now since I raised an issue with my new installation, 9 days since my line was installed, and still not a singe byte has flown from the interwebs to my place via fibre. Days ago I managed to get in contact with SADV (they phoned me 8 minutes after I sent them an email, unlike Cool Ideas who takes days) and a lady from SADV confirmed that everything looks good on their side and they can see my fibre router on the network, they also mentioned that they did send a notification/ticket to Cool Ideas to confirm the installation.

I'm starting to think I might be better off sticking with Webafrica as my ISP and notifying them of my fibre installation. I've tried being patient. It's not working out for me.

Anyone else still have issues after this OpenServe outage/issue we had this weekend in the Cape Town/Somerset-West area? I'm on 100/50 and couldn't load anything last night after 19:00...

Hi there, have you tried phoning and speaking to our connect team? Email tickets are combined with applications so can often cause delays. Calling is a fast form of communications. If you have and are still not winning let me know. SADV often say they have notified us yet they have not.

Had no problems last night, Pretoria East on OpenServe.

Battlefield 5 constant latency of about 3-5ms between 19:00 and 22:30.

I applied for 100/100 fibre on cisp.co.za about a week ago. Got a email saying to make an account on the frogfoot website and apply there too, which I did. Also RICA'd within day. I only received couple of emails, where I followed all instructions. I saw somewhere router will be delivered within 72 hours? Have not received anything.
I have to frogfoot fibre box in my apartment. Should something be happening, must I contact someone, or should I just be waiting?

Frogfoot should reach out to schedule installation, it then gets handed over to us and we dispatch the router. If you would like our connect team to follow up then give them a call.
