I did a ping to www.bbc.co.uk and 0% packet loss:

Nope just plug into CPE with obtain automatically. Nothing has bound to the new IP I have assigned yet.
 
Well Twitch is slightly better tonight for me... Still can't watch 1080p tho... Can only watch 720p which still buffers every minute or so...

Also still not routing via JHB.

Edit: Trying 1080p and i get buffering every 30-40 odd seconds... Downloading the stream at 1.5MB/s so basically 10% of my line. Looking at my router I can see only utilizing 17 mbps... So nothing else is saturating the line.

Yes so your outbound route would always be via the transit in CT, it's the return that we have changed which is what matters on the stream. So this is via 2 different routes and 2 upstreams yet the results are similar. At this point I still think it's often twitch related.

Since you changed the IP address it seems a bit better and getting the exact same results throgh my router and directly through the CPE... still bad speeds, nothing close to 150mbps at least...

Those results as well in line of what to expect from a home service. Adding an additional IP doesn't change the way the other one behaves though so I would suspect an inconsistent line or something wrong internally.

Ahhh, i see i see :) Well it definitely seems to have made a difference, So pretty sure there is something odd in CPT

@PBCool what would those international speed tests be like on a business account? Would be interested too see.

I am extremely pissed off with your serviice and more specifically with you consultant Keagan. I have been complaining about the service every two months since i signed up with you guys in November, today i call in to raise an issue, your consultant Keagan had an audacity to put down the phone in my ear. This is nonsense seeing that I am paying full amount for service that is below par. I need somoone to sort this mess out today or else i need my refund.

It would generally be line speed to London and beyond that dependent on TCP? And obviously other factors beyond our network.
 
@PBCool Twitch is still Horrible. Everything else seems great. Any other ideas?

I am now jumping between 720p/60fps and 360p when on auto. So the International isn't going to happen at 1080p/60fps like i'd expect from 100/100..

Any other ideas for things to try? No packet loss on the connections or anything like that.

Iv also had issues with twitch since i signed up for the 200/200 package on friday. However, today iv been able to stream with no buffering.

Just out of curiosity try this stream and check if its buffering for you: https://www.twitch.tv/sing_sing. Its working for me atm at 1080p 60fps.

If it's only Twitch then I can't really say, Twitch seems to come and go by itself.
 
Same is happening for me, I am able to stream TI on youtube at source. Twitch buffers insanely. I don't really see it as a issue tho as youtube is better quality.
 
Again 8pm comes and the speeds go to nothing.... 20mbps to all international servers. cool ideas and @PBCool tend to ignore the issue and blame it to clients internal devices or whatever, then vumatel line, then probably clients fault for even using the internet. For the past 3-4 weeks Cool Ideas connection bas been ****.... thats my experience and i get even more frustrated that we do so much by testing providing info to them and they just make us stupid...

Can anyone suggest a good ISP that has enough bandwidth to provide stable speeds throughout the day?

Which international servers are you doing a speedtest to? I'd like to try on my side.
